|| Fazer Magazine ||"Swedish singer songwriter Andreas Sjögren has written and recorded his newest album by himself, and on the thirteen songs that grace it, he allowed his sincerity to sweat through every note. The album has an ambient quality to it that makes it sound like it was made in a bedroom, but the experiences Sjögren’s went through to make it, make it worth the spin. Although the album doesn’t have top-shelf production behind it, what it may lack in audio quality it makes up for with personality. The songs have such a strong personal touch to them it’s almost like flipping through Sjögren’s diary with every song serving as a different entry that ultimately covers several chapters of his life. The record does, however, sound like Sjögren has a love for acoustic crooning of Neutral Milk Hotel. The album is sung in Swedish for the most part, and although the lyrics may not be in English, music is a universal language and the emotions within the songs successfully convey themselves. The album strikes a lush balance between being sweet enough to stay positive and honest enough to include songs that could be the soundtrack to loneliness and heartbreak. The record brings a strong reminder of what kind of power a band can create with just an acoustic guitar and a voice. The album also contains enough dynamics among the songs to keep someone listening the whole way through. The record includes cuts that put quiet acoustic ballads up against the dirty distortion of a song like "Borgmästaren”. A lot of the album envelops melancholy melodies that sound like sharp self-reflections of someone dealing with universal themes of human nature.”

|| Fensepost ||"Allt Är Musik is somewhat of a rarity in that Andreas Sjögren, the primary force behind Allt Är Musik, sings in his native tongue. The typical Swedish artist tends to sing in English. On Skapelseberättelsen, Allt Är Musik creates lo-fi pop tunes that blend acoustic guitars with drone-ridden synths, the combination of which is quite peaceful. Songs like "Allt Är Sagt Och Gjort” and title track "Skapelseberättelsen” include heavier synth focuses, but it’s not always the case. Sjögren will toss in a track where the primary focus is stripped to acoustics, like the outstanding, simple, yet entirely catchy tune "Lyssna Noga”, where the percussion builds softly for a most impressive conclusion, and a similarly constructed "Tomrum, Tomrum”. There are comfortable mediums, like "Skymningen”, where the consistent, bass heavy acoustic strum maintains a very soothing presence, despite a mixed-down synth. Still, both sounds are conducive to one another; going from the organ-heavy drone of "Skapelseberättelsen” into the slightly bouncy pop in "Tomrum, Tomrum” is a little strange, but there’s a consistency that allows it to work very well. Even when it leads into the third track, a heavily distorted pop track called "Borgmästaren” in the vein of The Hartmans, the continuity remains. And that’s what makes Skapelseberättelsen a brilliant lo-fi pop album."
