i just got really into westerns this summer. sadly i still haven't seen any of the classic pre-spaghetti western american westerns(they seem hard to find), but felt like posting this anyway.

1)the great silence

i just saw a film called The Proposition which came out in 2005 - it blew my mind, best western i've seen in ages! highly recommended
also there's dead man with johnny depp
