I'm posting this for a friend (who doesn't know that I'm doing this). I wonder if she knows that this board exists. I bet she'd want to register here if she did...

Anyway, there's this new zine that's just come out. It's called Sapricot. If you like Bottle Rocket, you'll probably like Sapricot, too. This is a blurb from the Sapricot Myspace page:

Hello world! The zine is done! It has interviews with Strawberry Story, Loverlee and Katy from the Fat Tulips, coloring pages, one of those crazy cool "Can you find 5 differences between the pictures" thing-a-ma-whats-its, two crayons, a crossword and a word search. It will be all cute and nice and happy, but also a little bit angry and punk. 'Cause that's how zines are. This zine is kind of like a tabloid. From it, you will learn a lot about the misdeeds of pop stars. Not so much in this zine, but there is a lot planned for the next issue! It costs $2.50 for people in the US and Canada, and $3.50 for the rest of the world. My paypal account is sapricotzine@gmail.com. Or, if you would like to trade, email or message me and we can work that out.

So... yeah... It comes with crayons! And I know the crossword is going to be awesome because I made up one of the answers for it!

Louise wants to come here in a bad way, but she doesn't know that she wants to be here.

I know she'd appreciate the cat thread. She's down with Caturday, too!

Pssh, well mine comes with CRAYONS! (okay, it probably won't after this issue cause that is just too expensive, so if you want crayons, you better buy this issue!)

Well, mine doesn't have ads for things that are relevant to your interests. In fact, there are no ads at all!

Well the lack of the ads is probably a plus. But I'm too broke to afford copying otherwise, so what can you do.

Mine has typewriters!

Mine has crayons, so people can hand color them THEMSELVES in any way they want! AND the inside!
